Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens
can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has.
~Margaret Mead
If you had, one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted - One moment
Would you capture it, or just let it slip?
~ EMINEM
At our other in-service sessions this year, we were asked to think about and consider sharing our own Passion(s) as an educator... in an attempt to weave together our own, unique, efforts with the vision and mission of our entire school community... it seems to me this is where commitment is born, which is derived in all teams from finding or building a shared vision and mission. This is my share.
Help - Ask for Support!
... so often the place where we fall short of integrating new resources and reshaping our instructional strategies. A little empowerment + a measure of support = transformation. Time is in such short supply and the tools and resources we have sought to apply are meant to provide a stronger foundation from which to empower educators and simultaneously support their efforts and objectives. In the remainder of this year we will seek to enjoyably promote and support model uses of these educational assets. Our intention is not to push technology onto busy teachers... we are simply seeking to help build a better team. Don't be afraid... and try not to be pessimistic. I'm sure someone famous or successful would encourage us not to overlook the potential opportunity in seeking to step up to a challenge... and another would suggest that teams working together can achieve much more. Just communicate what you are trying to do... and we'll see how we can help get you there. Maybe we'll all end up somewhere we never imaged? I can only say from experience... I've seen some amazing things happen in the past when such things happen and it has always been fun to work in such an environment. My passion... to help build a team that makes the difference in more people's lives, to become part of community working together to find what it takes to make champions out of dreamers...
